Championing Youth Development: Solidage Africa Foundation Unites Young People Across Africa
Established in 2016, Solidage Africa Foundation (SAF) has grown into a dynamic pan-African organization dedicated to empowering and uniting young people across the continent. With its head office in Ghana and an expanding network across Africa, SAF continues to build bridges among youth, fostering collaboration, leadership, and shared responsibility for Africa’s development.
Today, Solidage Africa Foundation has active networks in countries including The Gambia, Nigeria, Liberia, Togo, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Benin, South Africa, Malawi, Burundi, Ethiopia, Uganda, Sudan, and South Sudan, among others. This wide geographical presence reflects SAF’s firm belief that Africa’s strength lies in unity, shared values, and collective action among its young population.
Through youth-focused programs in mentorship, leadership development, education, health advocacy, community service, and social responsibility, SAF creates platforms where young people from diverse cultural, linguistic, and national backgrounds can connect and learn from one another. These initiatives encourage young Africans to see beyond borders, recognize their everyday challenges, and work together toward sustainable solutions.
Solidage Africa Foundation plays a vital role in nurturing young leaders who are socially conscious, resilient, and committed to positive change. By promoting dialogue, skills development, and cross-country collaboration, SAF helps young people build confidence, expand their networks, and develop a strong sense of Pan-African identity. At its core, SAF is more than an organization. It is a movement that believes in the power of youth as agents of transformation. By uniting young people across Africa, SAF continues to inspire a generation that is prepared to lead with integrity, innovation, and a shared vision for a peaceful, prosperous, and united Africa.
