Building Future Leaders: Solidage Africa Foundation and Kpone Municipal Assembly Youth Department Empower Kpone High School Students Through Mentorship Program
Solidage Africa Foundation, in partnership with the Kpone Municipal Assembly Youth Department, successfully organized a mentorship program for students of Kpone High School to inspire young people to make informed choices and build purposeful futures. The program formed part of a broader commitment to youth development, leadership, and personal growth within the municipality.
The mentorship session provided students with a safe and engaging platform to learn beyond the classroom, focusing on self-discovery, resilience, discipline, and the importance of education. Through open discussions and interactive engagement, students were encouraged to reflect on their goals, challenges, and the steps needed to achieve long-term success. Programs of this nature are critical in shaping responsible, confident, and motivated young people who can contribute positively to their communities and the nation at large.
Mr. Felix Kwame Zoiku, founder of SAF, delivered the keynote address, captivating students as he shared his personal life story. Drawing on his own experiences, challenges, and turning points, he emphasized that mistakes are not the end of one’s journey but valuable lessons that can shape a stronger, wiser future. Mr. Zoiku encouraged students to embrace learning, remain focused, and use setbacks as stepping stones rather than barriers. He stressed the importance of perseverance, sound decision-making, and surrounding oneself with positive influences. His message resonated deeply with the students, many of whom found inspiration in his honesty and practical advice.
The mentorship program reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Solidage Africa Foundation and the Kpone Municipal Assembly Youth Department to nurturing young people's potential. Through targeted mentorship and guidance, the initiative is helping to cultivate a generation of empowered youth equipped with the mindset and skills needed to succeed academically, professionally, and personally.
